Slim-built refrigeration units are an optimal and surface-efficient solution for trucks with a low box. The units are available in a variety of designs and with different functions.

Slim-built refrigeration units are specially designed for trucks with low boxes. The units are much narrower than traditional units, thus making full use of the space between the box and cab. Examples of slim-built refrigeration units are Hultstein’s Slimline 7, Slimline 9 and Slimline 9MTL. They are powered by a hydraulic constant flow pump, which is mounted directly on the truck’s PTO. These units provide constant power whatever the engine speed and reduce both fuel consumption and emissions.
